As an associate director of software development, I oversaw a team of 35
developers among 5 different departments and responsible for the maintenance
and new development for over 80 systems in various technologies like Progress,
.net, java and others, running 24/7 for over 800 internal users and public in
general. One of our greatest achievements was in 2024 when over 50% of
property taxes in the municipality were collected via our website instead of the
presential offices.

2012
Simetrical is dedicated to developing specialized software tools to increase
productivity and revenue for car retailer agencies. My main job as the operations
manager was to secure the daily delivery of up-to-date strategic KPIs to all our
customers, 7 days a week before 9 am as stated in the contract. One of our most
important achievements was the implementation of our software and service to all
Nissan dealers in whole Mexico.

2010
Grupo CER is a corporation owner of car retailer agencies in Yucatan and
Quintana Roo and owner of the Hertz car rental franchise in whole Mexico. I was
in charge of the IT department supervising the operation of our ERP,
infrastructure, telephony and tech support for all our users.

YUCATAN, SEPT 2001 – OCT 2007.
As the IT department manager, with a team of 26 people, I oversaw systems
operations, software development, infrastructure, networking and tech support for
overt 1500 client PCs. This includes supporting the HR & payroll for over 26,000
employees and the students’ information databases for all the public schools in
Yucatan.
BILLING AND INVOICING SUPERVISOR, PORTATEL DEL
SURESTE, AUG 2000 – SEPT 2001
Portatel was a company dedicated to cellular phone services, as the billing
supervisor, I was in charge of the operation of the billing system “minicell”, written
in Progress Software, dedicated to register an bill all the company’s clients
service. The billing service had to run in real time 24/7.

– AUG 2000
As a project leader, I had a team of 2 software developers and the responsibility to
ensure the correct analysis, development, testing and deployment of several
software projects for the municipality, all of those projects in Progress Software
technology.

1999.
My role as a software engineer was mainteinance, improvement and tech support
for the ERP software developed by Royal 4 systems.

As a software developer for the bank, I had to implement several upgrades to the
banking system “Ovation” to ensure compliance with Banco de Mexico’s
regulations and improvements to the system for our users.
