To coordinate the delivery of programmes and activities according to specifications
and taking care of all supporting documentation and financial procedures.
To deal with stakeholders for each activity according to the agreements with the
Ministries in Cuba and co-ordinate activities for each programme or event.
To liaise with regional and global colleagues in planning visits and training.
To check on venues for each event and carry out risk assessments and impact
analyses, proposing alternative action to minimise risks for each activity.
To be British Council Cuba’s Results and Evidence Framework (REF) Champion,
measuring impact, recording activity and proposing action to meet targets.
To gather information according to the principles and rules of Information
Governance and telling successful stories about our activity.
To monitor budgets and inform managers about the situation of actuals vs planning
in order to take proper actions when needed.
To draft content and material that helps ensure that stakeholders and colleagues
internally/externally better understand our work and impact.
To co-ordinate meetings and visits, support visa applications, make travel
arrangements, draft offer letters and check contracts for signature by managers.
To create vendors, open purchase orders and check the correct allocation of costs
and material description before approval by authorised staff.
