I believe a good work ethic will determine how far one will go in their chosen career. As for me, to meet a tight deadline, I put in heroic effort. I stay late, take on additional tasks, learn a new skill, volunteer to take on additional responsibilities to help the team succeed. I put in extra time and effort to make something better instead of settling for "good enough." I powered through when the odds are against me and it would have been easy to give up.
