Job Management Partner1/Network Management/Distribution Management (JP1/NETM/DM)
January 2005 – August 2005
It was a software resource management system intended for large-scale enterprise networks and consisted of server (manager and sub-manager) program and client program. The scope of the project was to extend RDBMS support to Hitachi's proprietary RDBMS called HiRDB. The scope of the project involved embedded HiRDB automatically when JP1/NETM/DM manager was installed, and to modify the database manager to create, back up, recover and re-configure the JP1/NETM/DM manager's database.
JP1/NETM/ Software Distribution
May 2004 – December 2004
The JP1/NETM/DM was an enterprise network management solution from Hitachi for distribution management and had a configuration consisting of a manager, several sub-managers and clients. For the maintenance of data of all sub-managers and clients, JP1/NETM/DM manager possessed a database, either in the form of an internal basic database (BDB) or supported an external RDBMS.
Job Management Parner1/Network Management/Distribution management (ODBC Support)
September 2005 – February 2006
When a SQL Server was chosen as a database during the installation process of JP1/NETM/DM manager, the database access library of the database manager used the DB library of SQL Server. It then became necessary to use ODBC instead of the DB library, since DB library would not be supported in SQL Server 2005. The project included program modifications to use ODBC instead of DB library used in the database access library for SQL Server database manager, and testing of the modified database manager access library.
