Lily Mwangi

I am a millennial who started her career as an entertainment journalist right after university. Over the years, I have grown and moved from an entertainment and lifestyle writer to an editor and now a YouTube video content creator as a host and producer at Tuko Media, Kenya’s largest online news website. I produce both Human Interest Stories and Entertainment Stories where we get deep into storytelling. When it comes to Human Interest, my aim is to help shed light on social issues to help find solutions for Kenyans, especially those of the lower class.

With that said, what I enjoy and excel in is storytelling. I am also a good writer who is very eloquent in English, my second language, with five-plus years of experience in one of the biggest media houses in Kenya, Radio Africa Group before joining Tuko Media where I have managed to gain the videos good views in different stories I tell on a weekly basis. But most importantly through my stories, I have managed to help so many people's lives change with the help of the viewers who watch the stories on the channel.
