Leonardo Cáceres

I am an Industrial Engineer specializing in Operations and Production Management, with over three decades of experience leading projects, optimizing processes, and enhancing operational efficiency and speed. My approach is based on redesigning systems, implementing automation, and leveraging data-driven management to generate tangible value.

My career has been forged in three major professional schools. For 20 years, in the pension sector, I led complex operations in large companies. My roles as Operations Manager (Accounts and Collections), Service Channels Manager, Commercial Intelligence and Performance Manager, and Data Governance and Quality Manager allowed me to manage teams and critical processes. I successfully internalized the accounts and collections operation, which generated savings of over 1 billion COP in the first year. I also designed a strategy to reduce legal costs and risks and was responsible for implementing a 100% digital mechanism for affiliations. Additionally, I implemented the Informatica Data Quality measurement tool, strengthening the reliability of critical information.

In consulting (2 years), I strengthened my methodological foundation in project management, innovation, and cultural change. I led high-impact projects such as the supply chain optimization for the Ministry of Health of Guatemala, the design of a citizen service culture training program for the National Planning Department, and the strengthening of a management system at the Superintendency of Notary and Registry.

At Brinks de Colombia (8 years), I developed and implemented operational and technological solutions to optimize processes. I led key projects such as the design and import of armored vehicles, the modernization of the radio communication system, and the implementation of information systems to streamline operational control.

This combination of strategic vision, methodological discipline, and operational execution allows me to approach challenges with a comprehensive focus, generating sustainable results. I am currently looking to apply my experience in companies where I can help scale ideas, create real value, and continue learning while building alongside incredible teams.
