As a self-taught developer, my expertise lies in the meticulous creation of Android applications, native web applications, and web-based systems. Over the course of the past decade, I have conscientiously honed my skills across a spectrum of technologies, including but not limited to PHP, Laravel, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Android Apps (Kotlin & Java), and MySQL. In 2013, I took the initiative to establish the YouTube channel "Developing Android Applications with Leon," not only to disseminate my knowledge but also to serve as a guiding resource for fellow developers navigating the complex landscape of Android application development.

My proficiency in the field has been acknowledged through assessments on prominent platforms such as LinkedIn, Turing.com, and Toptal. Notably, I achieved a top 5% ranking in the PHP assessment on LinkedIn, a testament to my depth of understanding and application of this technology.

Among my considerable achievements is the independent development of a comprehensive Point of Sale system, accessible at poskaz.leonapplications.com. This tailored solution, designed for Munandy Bakery, which operates across more than five branches in Zimbabwe and South Africa, comprises two Android applications and an administrative portal. Over the span of two years, I meticulously shepherded the entire development lifecycle, overseeing pivotal stages such as initial planning, coding, design, testing, server configurations, and ongoing maintenance and support.

In addition to this, I successfully conceptualized and brought to fruition a video streaming Android app. This dynamic application not only facilitates the seamless streaming of videos, audios, photo galleries, and comments but also incorporates a subscription model, allowing users to access premium features. Executed within a stringent timeline of approximately five weeks, this project was undertaken for Comic Pastor, a prominent Zimbabwean celebrity.

Beyond these accomplishments, I made a significant contribution to the development of an Android app for the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in 2018. This sophisticated application empowers users to explore the gallery's extensive artwork collection, seamlessly scan QR codes, and make donations. This endeavor reflects my commitment to diverse and impactful projects, underlining my dedication to leveraging technology for meaningful contributions.
