With three years experience in writing, editing and proofreading both creative and academic writing for clients, I believe I’m the freelancer for your job! 

Hello! My name is Leilee and I graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in English Literature with a Creative Writing Emphasis. During my time at USD I worked as a Peer Ambassador, where I was trained by career counselors to write, edit and proofread resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles.

I also have 3 years experience tutoring writing. I have worked at middle schools in San Diego and as a Writing Consultant at USD, helping students brainstorm, organize, edit and write academic and creative pieces. 

I have also been published in The Alcalá Review, won USD's Fiction Copper Contest and have written over 200 pages worth of fiction and nonfiction creative work.

While below are my experiences and skills, I do believe that the most important thing when it comes to freelancing is communication. It is important to me for you to know that I will always be available to communicate with you, I will always start a job by setting PRECISE goals determined by YOU and I will never finish a job without 100% satisfaction! 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

• RESUME and COVER LETTER building, editing and perfecting- Two years experience working as a Peer Ambassador at the University of San Diego's Career Development Center where I was trained by professional career counselors to help students with their resumes and cover letters. 

• ESSAY editing and proofreading- One year experience working at the University of San Diego's Writing Center as a tutor.

• Brainstorming for CREATIVE WRITING (fiction and nonfiction) in addition to editing, proofreading and giving general feedback- Fiction genre editor of The Alcalá Review, recipient of University of San Diego's Literary Achievement award and two years experience with fiction writing at the University of San Diego.
