With over 13 years of professional experience, I am a highly skilled developer and integration architect dedicated to building robust, scalable, and high-performing software systems. My career is defined by a deep technical versatility that spans mobile application development, full-stack engineering, and complex systems integration within some of the most demanding environments, including the healthcare and government sectors.  

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a unique ability to bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern innovation. Most recently, as an Integration Engineer, I designed and implemented solutions utilizing MuleSoft, NiFi, and Kafka to ensure seamless communication between disparate components. I have extensive experience in the healthcare domain, specifically architecting data exchange layers using FHIR R4 RESTful APIs and developing HL7 v2 interfaces to integrate patient data across Cerner and Epic EHR systems.  

My technical toolkit is exceptionally broad, encompassing languages and technologies such as Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, and PHP, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. As the owner of GMF IT Solutions, I have led the end-to-end development of iOS and Android applications, taking projects from initial architecture and prototypes to final release on the App Store and Google Play. My background at SunTrust (Truist) further sharpened my mobile expertise, where I triaged critical issues and implemented fixes for high-traffic banking applications.  

Beyond pure coding, I am a seasoned leader who excels in Agile environments. I have a proven track record of leading development teams, mentoring junior members, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate technical risks and meet strict compliance standards, such as those set by the CDC. My experience also includes heavy production support, where I utilize tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow to provide 24/7 monitoring and rapid issue resolution.  

I have previously held a Public Trust security clearance and Secret Clearance, reflecting my reliability and experience in secure environments. Driven by an insatiable curiosity for new technologies, I am a well-rounded developer committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellence in every project I undertake.
