My career began in banking during the late 1980s and 1990s, where I gained extensive experience in customer service, operations, and sales, including a rewarding role as a vault teller. As the industry automated, I sought new opportunities, enrolling in school to become a medical assistant. This allowed me to transition to healthcare, utilizing my customer service skills for seven years in patient care and administration. After relocating to Iowa, I realized my skills weren't sufficient to meet my career aspirations, so I returned to school and obtained my LPN certification in 2021. I am driven by a genuine desire to assist individuals, actively listening to their concerns and providing solutions. I find fulfillment in researching and problem-solving, and I prioritize creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere when communicating, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and effectively address issues. With a collective 47 years of experience in banking and healthcare, including medical assisting and nursing, I am committed to fostering supportive environments to achieve positive outcomes.
