Work experience
January 2014 –
freelancer, projects with Raspberry PI (embedded Linux, python), additional C#
programs – upwork.com, freelancer.com, udemy.com
Mostly I am dealing with individual embedded projects and additional accessories. Project goals such
as: controlling fan filter unit and HMI, time measurement system for car racing, interface
programming (RFID, home automation, temperature and humidity sensor). I do as a one-person
business, so I am making proposal, do coordination and manage earnings.

Bigger projects (> 1 month):
Raspberry PI Cleanroom control unit development with Python (10 months)
“AirCare Automation provides control solutions for cleanroom applications. We are essentially a
group of 4 software and electronic hardware engineers based in California, Texas and (me)
Germany. At AirCare I am the lead developer for our system controllers. In October of 2014 I hired
Laszlo via Elance to write application software running on a Raspberry / Raspbian platform for a new
fan and sensor controller for cleanrooms (product name: ACC5). While Laszlo had the sole
responsibility for developing the Raspberry code, I developed the application code for the touch
screen display. Together, we tested and debugged the ACC5. The project and Laszlo’s involvement
concluded in July of last year.”

Home automation with openHAB on Raspberry PI: (2 months)
“We are looking for an Arduino developer who helps us developing a prototype based on Arduino
(or Arduino compatible hardware). UPDATE: To have a more powerful central unit, the design
needs to have an update i.e. RasperryPi as central unit. Im very interested in your design proposal to
setup the system functionality as described.
Some details are:
- interfaces (input: different sensors, output: relay/switches/display)
- power over ethernet
- communication via web/app”

“The current software is in full working order but needs better documentation, error reporting and
modularisation.
Looking for a python developer:
- Modularise and improve code for deployment on a embedded Linux Boards such as Raspberry pi,
Odroid, BananaPi, Beaglebone etc.
- Develop a method to update modules/full code via USB or an online repository (Such as download
from a webserver or github)
- Improve communication protocol with embedded hardware using RS232 or I2C or Bluetooth via
serial RS232”

Reference: Jignesh Patel -- Veteran car racing measurement system on Raspberry PI platform (15 months)
Australia Classic is a veteran car race. The previous measurement system was based on Ethernet,
that is not so flexible as Wi-Fi. We made a Wi-Fi and optosensor based system on Raspberry PI
(python and C) and a tracker and evaluation system for Tablet (C#).

Reference: Zoltan Vandulek -- Ljøs Raspberry Pi interface (3 months)
“We require a Raspberry Pi Programmer. One of our new LED lights is named the `Ljøs´ and requires
an external interface programmed in Linux to run on a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is to accept
internet protocols through a REST API. Then connectivity with our mini USB interface to control the
Ljøs. This enables us to control the Ljøs light remotely over the internet: python – Flask.”
