Larry W. Hotaling -
Executive Summary
Over 25 years of executive level experience managing manufacturing companies on an international scale to include Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America and Asia. Mr. Hotaling led the acquisition of $350 million in companies in the telecom equipment infrastructure
industry in Europe, Latin America and Asia as part of a global strategy by Chatham Technologies a start-up in which he was one of the original investors.
His Asian experience has included responsibility for 4000 employees and US$350 million in
sales of telecom infrastructure and computer equipment as an Executive VP for Flextronics
Enclosure Systems which acquired Chatham in 2000 after reaching over $ 850 million in
sales in just 2 ½ years.
Mr. Hotaling has worked in Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, Dubai,
Eastern and Western Europe, Mexico and Brazil. Within China he has identified and closed
two acquisitions, Greenfielded a 185,000 square foot manufacturing facility, recruited and
developed management teams and managed various manufacturing and marketing operations.
Since 2000 Mr. Hotaling has guided companies with sales ranging from US $50 million to $3
Billion in defining and developing their Asian initiatives. These activities have included
strategy, tactical planning and budgeting, M&A, establishing legal entities (business
licenses), factories, management teams, supply chain, strategic partnership agreements, market entry initiatives, organizational development, market entry and unique program management processes for manufacturing companies in various industries.
Hotaling has also served as a Division President of Danieli a US$ 4 billion Italian manufacturer of steel processing equipment, Division CEO and officer of Scotsman Industries (a former $500 mil NYSE listed company) and EVP international Operations for Foster Refrigerator (a $100 mil private company) as well as Division President of the Australian and Canadian operations.
Hotaling resides in Shanghai, China; Phuket, Thailand; Studio City, CA and San Carlos,
Panama.
