Larry Famodimu

I am a Senior Backend Engineer with over 6 years of experience building and scaling production backend systems for SaaS, fintech, and data-driven platforms.

I currently work at Atop Web Technologies, where I design and build backend systems using Node.js and PostgreSQL. My work includes developing a full educational banking system (AtopBank) covering authentication, account management, transactions, ledgers, and auditing.

Before that, I worked at Ollytech from 2022 to 2024, where I built microservices for secure cloud storage and data vault systems using Node.js, AWS ECS, and MySQL. My work improved system reliability, performance, and scalability for enterprise users.

From 2020 to 2022, I worked at Wildfire B.S, developing backend services for analytics platforms, including real-time reporting systems and data pipelines. I also contributed to system architecture decisions and CI/CD deployments.

I began my career at Paramount Students in 2020, where I built REST APIs and optimized database performance for an education platform.

My experience includes building APIs, designing databases, integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, and deploying scalable systems using AWS and Docker. I have worked with technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis.

In addition to my full-time roles, I have worked on freelance and personal projects, including an e-commerce backend with payment integration, a real estate booking platform, and a language learning application.

I focus on building clean, scalable, and production-ready backend systems.
