As a manager of million-dollar academic and applied research and development projects, I am detailed and thorough from the visioning process through implementation. My team relies on me to think of things they forgot, anticipate and correct problems before they happen, and lead projects to success. With 20 years of experience as a consultant in science, engineering, planning, economic development, ecology and sustainability, I have worked remotely for a variety of clients at all levels of government and for corporations, academia and non-profits. My successful proposals have included $15 million for brownfield redevelopment from economic development agencies, $4 million for education, outreach, equipment and training from the National Science Foundation and philanthropic foundations, and $3 million for physical infrastructure from governments. Because I have also been on the implementation side of the projects for which I have obtained grants, I’m quick to structure work plans, develop implementation systems, analyze data, write technical reports, and lead projects to success. If you want a freelancer who can readily step into any role you need filled, please contact me.
