Lankalapalli Kumar

I am Kumar Lankalapalli, a dedicated and enthusiastic B.Tech student specializing in Data Science at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering. I have a strong interest in solving real-world problems using technology, and I actively pursue opportunities to apply my knowledge in practical and impactful ways.

I have a solid foundation in programming with Python, R, and C, and a working knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). My technical skills also include basic understanding of data analysis, mathematical modeling, and automation techniques. I am currently preparing for the GATE exam, which has further strengthened my command over core computer science subjects and problem-solving strategies.

In terms of achievements, I secured 2nd place in an internal college-level hackathon, where I contributed to building an innovative and functional tech solution under tight deadlines. Additionally, I was selected for the next-level intercollege hackathon, demonstrating my ability to think critically and collaborate effectively in high-pressure environments. These experiences helped me develop a strong mindset for teamwork, innovation, and rapid prototyping.
