Lana Bateman

Hello!

My name is Lana Elizabeth Bateman, and I am a freelance graphic designer based in Ottawa, Ontario. When it comes to my work, I love the challenge of taking on new projects to create innovative & eye catching visual solutions, and I derive a lot of satisfaction from seeing a job well done. My specialties include branding, web design, illustration and motion graphics.

As a freelancer, what I bring to the table is a strong formal design education, ample experience with a wide variety of different projects, and an extremely diverse skill set which includes everything from branding, responsive web design, illustration, motion graphics, HTML/CSS and copy writing! What’s great about this is that when it comes to my work, I can really attack a problem from all angles; coming up with innovative new solutions to all manner of different projects. It is this adaptability, expertise, and strong work ethic that make me a strong asset to any team!

Additionally, my experience as a freelance graphic designer has endowed me with excellent project management & communications skills, ample experience in working to brand guidelines, and a robust ability to solve problems, propose solutions, and meet project deadlines. I often go above and beyond to ensure a successful outcome to any project, no matter the size, and I pride myself on always being professional, courteous, and helpful; providing dedicated service to all.
