I am an Azerbaijani journalist, filmmaker, and storyteller based in Ankara, with a background in Radio, Television, and Cinema from Ege University. I have experience working both remotely and in the field, producing news reports, editing video content, and doing voice-over work. I previously worked for the Voice of America Azerbaijani department, where I honed my skills in international journalism. My reporting focuses on culture, social issues, and international affairs, with special interests in migration, internet security, and health awareness.
In addition to my journalism career, I am passionate about filmmaking, using visual storytelling to explore human-centered narratives. My projects emphasize detailed editing, atmosphere, and mood. I’ve also worked with children in earthquake-affected areas and with cancer charities, which has shaped my drive to create positive change through my work.
Fluent in Azerbaijani, Turkish, and English, I aim to expand my linguistic and cultural understanding, with plans to learn Russian. I’m focused on creating educational content about film, language, and cultural awareness, while growing my own online platforms. My goal is to use storytelling to inspire and make a meaningful impact.
