WORK EXPERIENCE
2015 – Present
Director
Foison Training (PTY) Ltd
Director at Foison Training focused on training and education for students and student experience within the
online training platform. Emphasis initially placed on the creation, set up and delivery of online course content
from video outline, filming, editing and producing, to uploading courses for availability while ensuring student
support throughout courses.
During this period of establishing Foison Training, I worked part time as a Data Capturer for a new online start up
business called Choosytravellers, where my responsibilities were a collection of mining, editing, loading and proof
reading of data required for the travel destination website as well as ensuring images were obtained in relevance
to loaded data. I also assisted with managing the team nationally whenever the MD was away.
2012 – 2015
Creative Hair Manager and Team Leader Nationally

Appointed to create a hair division within national franchise beauty chain stores, consisting of three divisions
within the newly conceptualized hair department. These ranged from the Drybars (signature looks, blowouts,
treatments and retail lines), Candi & Co (main focus on colour, cutting, braiding, retail line and ethnic hair
speciality) and Sorbet Man (male grooming, barbering, cutting, colouring and retail line).
My portfolio consisted of assisting from outline of concept store, products and equipment suppliers, creating of
manuals for student training of all three divisions, student sourcing, training and competency evaluations based
on specific KPI’s, setup and implementation of three training academies in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town,
hiring and training educators for each division and managing teams nationally. Involved with all photo shoots
regarding hair division for Sorbet Group. Assisting with store visits for hygiene and skill maintenance with stylists,
as well as on going stylist education once placement in store was confirmed. Assisted new franchisees with
account activations from suppliers and ongoing support.

Sales and education representative for L’oreal brand called Matrix. Responsible for launching the brand into the
hairdressing industry in the Eastern Cape through product launches, salon calls, practical education as well as
creating consumer awareness via the Eastern Province Hairdressing Championships. Our national target was
1600 hair salon doors in the first year, which we achieved after 9 months.
