I have a strong foundation in medical billing, insurance verification, and accounts receivable follow-up, supported by my recently completed Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. Through my coursework and hands-on training, I’ve developed a solid understanding of the revenue cycle, claim submissions, denial management, and insurance processes.

I’m confident in verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, accurately entering and updating patient and payer information, and conducting thorough follow-up on unpaid or denied claims. I’m also comfortable using tools like Excel to track accounts and maintain organized, up-to-date records. My attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies help ensure timely reimbursement and clean claim processing.

In my previous role as an assistant manager, I was responsible for customer accounts and billing, which strengthened my communication skills, organizational habits, and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks. These skills directly transfer to medical billing and AR follow-up, where accuracy, follow-through, and professionalism are essential.
