As ranking member of Integral Care Hiring Committee; screened, ranked, and interviewed over 50
senior-level applicants for Executive Director of the Integral Care Foundation.
REVENUE DEVELOPMENT
●
Increased HRC sponsorship numbers by 50% and revenue by 38% for the Annual Human Rights
Campaign Gala which grossed over $600,000 for the 2019 fiscal year.
●
Drove HRC major donor membership by 25% and overall membership by 35%; personally bringing
on $25,000 in major gifts to the HRC Foundation.
●
Oversaw, edited and contributed to grantmaking for Integral Care for a total of $726,000.
●
Created the strategy and aided in raising $119,000 for the National Crisis Hotline for Integral Care.
●
Worked to plan the Bridging the Gap Gala with an attendance of over 750 guests, generating over
$250,000 to benefit the Central Texas Region.
●
Managed assets for the Integral Care Foundation of over $500,000.
●
Key member in ensuring Integral Care’s Fundraising hit $4.8 million in capital projects.
●
Coordinated with the Fund Development department team to bring in over $50,000 in donations
for Equality Texas’ principal annual event.
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
●
Served as Press Secretary for the HRC Gala; appearing on CBS, ABC, and NBC local news affiliates.

Managed media content such as press releases highlighting national legislation on the Military
transgender ban, the Bathroom Bills, and the 2016 United States Presidential Election.

Created and delivered content to HRC Headquarters in Washington D.C. detailing work plans,
program, and fundraising progress and the development of fiscal quarterly goals.

Wrote and managed marketing content, promotional pieces, and solicitation letters for HRC and

INTEGRAL CARE FOUNDATION, BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MARCH 2016 - PRESENT, AUSTIN, TX
Appointed as Chairman of the Speaker’s Bureau and the Executive Committee to hire the incoming
Executive Director of the 38-year old foundation. Responsible for coordinating Integral Care Staff with
speaking engagements with private major donor parties, faith organizations, corporate events, and local
nonprofit fundraisers. Oversaw the continual funding for 86 living units for central Texas residents living
with mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Led correspondence with celebrity
guests for Bridging the Gap Gala which in the past have included Carrie Fisher, Mariel Hemingway, and
Christopher Kennedy Lawford of the prominent Kennedy family.
HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN, CO-CHAIR
FEBRUARY 2015 - NEW YORK CITY, LOS ANGELES, AUSTIN
Member of the National Board of Governors and personally led the Membership Committee by increasing
overall membership into the HRC and organizing events for Austin, New York, and Los Angeles. Served as
national liaison between Washington headquarters and Austin Steering Committee by partnering with the
Pride Organization as well as the Kind Clinic, Equality Texas, and other coalition partners with a
community stake in the State of Texas. Spearhead monthly corporate and community events in order to
promote coalition nonprofit organizations, as well as raise funds for lobbying in Washington against
discriminatory civil rights legislation. Served on the Gala Committee, Federal Club Committee, and the
Communications Committee in order to draft press releases, event promotion, and responses to a new
state and national legislation.
AUSTIN PREP ACCESS PROJECT, FUND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER
JUNE 2014 - JANUARY 2015, AUSTIN, TX
Responsible for establishing a formal development plan for the launch of the life-saving drug, Truvada, and
Prep Access Project in the City of Austin. Wrote and implemented resources development plan to diversify
funding streams. Researched, wrote, and managed the event and auction plan for the launch of the
premier gala. Worked with the Chairman and the Board of Directors to strategically guide fundraising
efforts for the annual winter event.
EQUALITY TEXAS, FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Led this Statewide organization in its acquisition of auction items, services, major gifts, and volunteers to
power their largest major event of the fiscal year. Oversaw the creation of bid sheets, collection of
donations, payments, delivery of items, and correspondence with corporate and individual sponsors.
Directed volunteers in citywide outreach and educational programming. Coordinated with EQTX
headquarters to leverage staff and funding needs to meet extensive needs for the following year.
