Kyla Mc Gee

Although my background is in political science and international studies and I started my career as an executive administrator in the United States Air Force, I've most recently spent over four years in the educational field as first a private tutor in English language, literature and writing, then as a specialist in standardized testing preparation for high school and collegiate students, and finally as an administrator and center director for the tutoring center. I have experience proofreading and editing a wide range of documents from military briefings to student academic papers to social media postings. Over the last year, I have shifted my career focus to freelance proofreading and editing. I am certified through Proofread Anywhere's proofreading course, and have volunteered with Distributed Proofreaders to proofread and edit digital transcriptions of written works within the Pubic Domain in the United States.
