He also holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from the University of South Wales, where he submitted a paper titled "Overcoming Land Dispute and conflicting Judgment in Ghana: The Role of Stakeholders". He is a professional member of Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and also a member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), USA. Kankam has considerable experience in areas of residential real estate development, corporate real estate strategy, property valuation, property & facilities management, mortgages, construction project management, lease negotiations, facilities management, acquisition of large tracks of land and site development management for multinational brands. Kankam has a good understanding of real estate in Ghana and other parts of Africa. He currently works with Serviar as the Site Development Manager, for the Burger King Franchise in Ghana and (Ivory Coast & Kenya when the need arises). He prepares scoring cards and financial viability study to evaluate business performance for the selected proposed site for Burger King Outlets. In the year of 2018, he successfully opened 3 Burger King outlets in Ghana, 5 in Kenya and 7 in Ivory Coast. Kankam also managed the construction project of two retail outlets in Kotoka International Airport (Terminal 3 Departure) for Servair. Prior to joining Servair to develop the Burger King Franchise in Ghana, Ivory Coast and Kenya, he rose to the position of Head of Estates & Facilities Management in the largest real estate advisory firm in Ghana called Property Databank Limited. He was required to value a broad range of assets type: commercial and residential for mortgage, insurance and sale purpose. During his years at Property Databank, he managed the real estate portfolio of Jospong Group of Companies and Zoomlion Ghana, a portfolio worth over $50million dollars.
