I wrote my first magazine article in 1982 for Digital Design magazine on uninterruptible power supplies. I did research by phone and had details sent to me while on vacation in Montana. I wrote the piece on the plane coming home. They paid me $1000 for the work and published it as it was submitted. I have opened many web sites and write them all.
