Kristin Hamilton

I have been in customer service for over a decade, working in retail and restaurants. I take orders in person, online and over the phone and promptly fulfill them. I am responsible for inputting information into the computer system regarding inventory and orders, loss prevention, cash handling, and researching discrepancies and issues. I have worked my way up to interim manager in numerous companies. I am self-motivated, organized and work well on my own and in teams. I enjoy helping where I am needed, often floating my services to other locations within my district. I am always looking to grow in my career by quickly learning new, challenging tasks and incorporating the lessons learned to advance my life. I helped integrate a new computing system and adapted quickly to the change. I continually aid my store’s marketing by suggesting ideas for products, marketing and product placement to best reach our consumer base. I often ‘close’ the store I work at, cleaning up after hours, completing inventory paperwork and counting down the open tills. Counting the tills and inventory is of the utmost importance requiring great attention to detail. I spend my spare moments working on my novel as I dream of being an author one day. I am studying to proofread and edit and want to switch to a 100% writing-based career.
