Job Description –ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
DUTIES:
Accurate posting of invoices in the accounting system.
Bank reconciliation, preparing and arranging bank withdraws and transfers after
verification.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Supporting timely production of Management Accounts
Reconciling of supplier invoices before payment
Updating and reconciling aging balances.
Payroll preparation
Raising customer invoices and writing cheques, making payments for fuel, electricity and
telephones as and when they fall due.
Constant update of Suppliers’ accounts reconciliations
Preparation of statutory deduction i.e. VAT, NSSF, NHIF and withholding taxes.
Checking all financial transactions for accuracy
