Hi there. My name is Grace and I am the co-founder and owner and creator of Filipino Virtual Assistants (0:15-0:20).
And today allow me to share with you techniques on how we can attract premium freelancing clients (0:22-0:27).
When it comes to living a life of our dreams, we are always told to goal and work hard and live outside of our comfort zone (0:28-0:37).
There is no shortcut to success. There is no overnight type of success. We have heard these things over and over again and as freelancers we are always being told to go for competitive freelancing niches. (0:38-0:52).
When we go for competitive niches, we not only enjoy shorter working hours but also higher hourly rates or higher contracts with higher pay, also lesser competition, and more demand when it comes to our freelancing skills. (0:53-1:10)
But how can we go into competitive niches that we enjoy. The answer is to go from a zero-level freelancer to a hero level freelancer. (1:11-1:23)
As the other freelancer means a freelancer with zero skill to offer to clients at all. You probably have worked in the past which is offline (1:23-1:33).
You probably know something in the online world. But it comes to being competitive with your skills, you have zero skill to offer and the sole goal for this type of freelancer is to go for self-enrichment. (1:33-1:48).
This means that you have to enrich yourself. You have to empower yourself with different skills and expertise. (1:48-1:55).
You have to go through the training. May be paid or not paid. But the sole focus is not getting clients, not attracting premium clients because it will not just happen. You will have failed its patience (1:56-2:11).
What you’re going to focus on, is you need to go for self-enrichment. The second type of freelancer is the wannabe freelancer. This is the type of freelancer who was some freelancing skill or niches to offer to clients. (2:11-2:26).
However, it’s not just enough to really go ahead for premium clients. There’s always moving from one client to the other. And you are competing with millions of others of freelancers because you’re freelancing skill that you can offer to clients is not competitive enough. (2:26-2:44)
There’s no mastery. You ordered an expert of that field so the sole goal for this type of freelancer, this niche development. This means that you have to gain that trust, you have to gain that online freelancing experience. (2:44-3:01).
If you have to offer your freelancing skill or freelancing services to local clients, or to friends, or to relatives who have businesses for free at first, or probably offer your freelancing services lower than what it should be in order to really just gain the trust to establish your portfolios, to gain that freelancing experience because once you have established your online portfolio, you can go to the next type of freelancer. And this freelancer is what we call the good freelancer. (3:02-0:35).
This is freelancing with a focus niche. However, you’re not hitting your goals when it comes to your annual or quarterly or even monthly goals because you chase clients. It’s not the premium clients who are coming to you. (3:36-3:50).
You always have to prove yourself to clients. You are doing good but it’s not better or best enough. This why the sole goal of this freelancing is operational excellence. When we’re talking about operational excellence, you have to find out what’s working best for you. (3:51-4:11).
When it comes to your strategy customer service and marketing, you have to master the best approaches and practices in order to establish the trust-based marketing and clients will come your way. So premium clients will start coming your way. (04:12-4:27).
The next one is what we call the hero freelancer. This is freelancing with the niche that you love. You’re able to enjoy this niche now because you have gone through the process. And when we say process, it may be trying different niches from your zero wannabe in your good freelancer levels. (4:28-4:48).
You’re able to develop the very character and various strategies that will make you a hero freelancer. You are now able to earn big as you serve others. Premium client come to you when they are in need of assistance. Then, when you’re a hero freelancer, you maintain a level of authority and leadership in your freelancing niche. And when you have reached the hero level, your sole goal is to constantly do things for the right reasons and balance profit and serving people. (4:49-5:20).
So how can we get premium freelancing clients? Find out what is it that you love, learn it, master it, be an expert of the freelancing niche, and dominate in that field by operating with excellence. (5:21-5:38).
That would be all for today. I hope that this has been helpful. Let me know in the comment section, what level are you right now when it comes to freelancing. Have a good day everyone. God bless you and I will see you again on the next video. (5:39-5:51).
