Kimberly Temple Schrant
Experience
Kimberly has over 20 years of experience in
accounting and finance. She has acquired a
diverse background in the areas of corporate,
individual, partnership and fiduciary income
taxation and planning; estate taxation and
planning, and financial and retirement planning.
She currently is focused on personal finance,
financial coaching and writing and speaking in the
area of personal finance.
Work experience
Before forming Kansas Money Coach LLC,
Kimberly worked as a managing director with
Grant Thornton LLP, and prior to that, Kennedy
and Coe LLC (now, KCoe Isom LLP). She also works
with various other companies as a writer on
finance topics, teaches financial education,
provides one‐on‐one coaching plus tax consulting
and compliance services.
Professional qualifications and
memberships
Kimberly holds CPA licenses in both Kansas and
Colorado. She is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the
Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Community involvement
Kimberly is board chair of Harper Hospital,
Harper, Kansas. She is also vice‐chair of Harper
Hospital District #6, which is currently planning
for the new Patterson Health Center, to be
opened in the Spring of 2019. Kimberly serves on
the Scholarship Committee for the Wichita
Chapter of Executive Women International. She
serves as an advisory board member for Junior
Achievement of Wichita and on the corporate
board for Junior Achievement of Kansas. She
donates time to the Harper Mission Mart, a non‐
profit organization serving the underprivileged
and is the chair of the organizing committee for

Harper County Bullseye BBQ, a Kansas City
Barbeque Association‐sanctioned contest.
Presentations and publications
Kimberly has presented on relevant personal
finance topics including, “Personal Finance:
Simple but Necessarily Easy!”, “Personal Finance
Horror Stories and What You Can Learn from
Them,” and “Why It is So Important to Get Out of
Debt.” In addition, she has authored, and
published articles entitled:

Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in
Accounting from Colorado Mesa University in
Grand Junction, Colorado.
Personal
Kimberly enjoys playing golf with her husband,
Patrick, and spending time with their son, Sydney.
She is an enthusiastic world traveler, having been
on several remarkable adventures. These include
trekking to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa
and Everest Base Camp in Nepal and visiting the
Taj Mahal in India, to name a few. Kimberly is also
an active member of the competition barbeque
community and is the organizer of three Kansas
City Barbeque Society‐sanctioned competitions.
These events attract to South Central Kansas the
top barbeque teams in the nation every spring
and fall.
