CETERA FINANCIAL GROUP - West Des Moines, IA - August 2016 to Present
• I work with a small team of about 7 people running the operations area for First Allied Securities out of San
Diego. I work primarily with Alternative Investments, processing purchasing (both retail and non-retail),
transfers of all kinds (ACAT, Non-ACAT, TOD, In-Kind, etc.), redemptions, distributions, networking, and
resolving problems for high end advisors and clients. I was sent to San Diego to learn three areas of the takeover then brought back that information and trained the other departments, temporarily managing until they
were up to speed. I am working on completing the AI training manual as there currently is not one written for
my position. I have learned most of the position without training as there was only basic information available,
and have helped in implementing new ideas and changes to various areas of the AI department with our
cashiering firm and parent company. I currently run the AI department myself, but am working on training
another operator to help with the workload.
Accounts Receivable
WORKIVA - Ames, IA - May 2016 to August 2016
• Contracted to transfer accounts to new software program. Evaluate legal contracts for updates or errors,
evaluate invoices and orders for errors, approve or reject them, send requests for changes to appropriate
area: legal dept, sales force, etc. Update and review new contracts after corrections, check billing and
discounts, forward to be processed. Work on computers with Excel, Word, Intaact, SF.
Accounts Payable Clerk
STRAND'S, INC - Marshalltown, IA - November 2015 to March 2016
• Responsible for credit card payable and charged accounts. Paid weekly and monthly bills associated with
credit cards. Called and received overdue accounts. Did research and gathered information as needed for my
supervisors. Input new store items into inventory. Entered contractor paychecks into spreadsheets. Entered
weekly store finances. Helped with payroll - errors, hours, vacation times and days off, and updated payroll
log weekly. Handled accounts through mail, email, phone and online communications. Part-time position, laid
off due to store financial difficulties.
WEAN TRUCK DRIVER
IOWA SELECT FARMS - Iowa Falls, IA - August 2015 to November 2015
• Full time driver hauling weaned pigs farm to farm. Drove a pick up and hauled a goose-neck trailer. Loaded
anywhere from 350 - 700 weaned pigs from one farm and drove them to the next stage farm and unloaded.
Practiced biosecurity to keep outside exposure to the animals to a minimum. Worked at a high level of patience
while under a deadline loading and unloading. Focused on detail when backing in the trailers to the chute
through vehicles, yard items and getting it exact to the door. Temporary job until I could find one in the field I
was going to school for.
DATA ENTRY CLERK
IOWA SELECT FARMS - Iowa Falls, IA - May 2015 to August 2015
• Received, collected, organized and processed information received from farm sites. Interpret, code and log
information received through fax, electronic or email communication. Input information into Excel and Access.
Help gather, log and organize information for payroll. Prepared information for auditing purposes. Performed
other general clerical duties as assigned by my supervisor. Part-time position, laid off.
COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR
HARDIN COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICE - Eldora, IA - January 2015 to May 2015
• Worked as a 911 operator and dispatcher for the Hardin SO, Ackley Police Department, Eldora Police
Department, Eldora Ambulance, Iowa Falls Ambulance and the surrounding towns first responders and fire
departments within Hardin County. As well as taking 911 calls and non-emergent calls, *I also entered
nocontact orders, new warrants, validated old warrants, entered citations into Sleuth, Iowa Courts Online and
TraCS. Cleared NCO's and warrants served by officers and deputies, or that were canceled by the Clerk of
Court.* Used Sleuth and Omnixx to run license and vehicle checks and to enter calls for service. Logged and
gathered all information needed by officers and deputies for officer safety. Used MACH, IOWA and NCIC
systems to research and communicate information needed. Part-time temporary position.

• Worked as a 911 operator and dispatcher for the Marshalltown PD, Marshall County Sheriff Office,
Marshalltown Fire Department and the surrounding towns first responders and fire departments within Marshall
County. *Same description as above.* Used Sleuth, Zuercher/LEDS Suite and Clips to run license and vehicle
checks and to enter calls for service. Full-time position, left because at that time I was unable to work evening
shifts.
CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT
EBERLINE FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC - Grundy Center, IA - June 2013 to June 2014
• Assist doctor with his patients while they are in the room. Gather information and history for each patient and
log into online records. Take vitals and record. Log doctor's observations as he treats the patient into their
online records. Provide follow-up treatments as needed - Diathermy, Ultrasound and Electrical Muscle
Stimulation, as well as assist doctor with Acupuncture. Part-time position, needed to work full time.
HOME MANAGER
Self Opportunity - August 2005 to June 2013
• Managed various bank accounts. Paid bills, balanced checkbook. Managed household finances such as
budgets and personal accounts. Initiated and answered various correspondence. Helped five children with
homework. Maintained schedules for seven people, including appointments, sports and school activities.
Demonstrated some serious time-management and organizational skills. Multitasked to the extreme. Learned
excellent negotiating skills. Raised five children, four of which were teenagers at the same time, and they all
survived. 24/7/365 position with no time off. Loved every second of it.
