KEVIN ULLAND Seattle, WA SUMMARY Serial entrepreneur who loves the daily challenge of working in all aspects of the business. From technology & product management to sales, marketing, and technical support, the ideal job provides opportunities to creatively and effectively solve new problems as they arise. Whether it's a new client project that requires a brand new approach, or a long-term software development goal that needs a fresh perspective to solve, I'm ready to dive in and get to work. EXPERIENCE Founder | Causio DECEMBER 2015 – PRESENT Causio is working on new ways to bring online fundraising directly to non-profits that need new approaches to their fundraising. We're the only platform that has solved the complex legal and logistical issues with running online sweepstakes giveaways so that non-profits can do more than simple fundraisers. VP, Product Management | Cheetah Digital (formerly Experian Marketing Services) JUNE 2012 – OCTOBER 2013 After acquiring Conversen, the Marketing Services division of Experian devoted more resources to help grow our platform and compete at a larger scale than we could as a start-up. • Directed the product development cycle from prototype development to production rollout of integrated marketing suite platform. • Defined project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure consistency with company strategy and commitments. • Lead project manager in product development, testing and validation, risk assessment, and optimize production efficiency of multiple product lines. Founder & CTO | Conversen OCTOBER 2006 – JUNE 2012 Conversen built the first truly cross-platform marketing messaging system designed from the ground up to enable authentic and meaningful conversations between marketers and their customers. Product Manager | Britemoon FEBRUARY 2003 – MAY 2006 Britemoon's integration with Microsoft CRM was the first solution to the market that enabled CRM users to create truly personalized email and print communications with their customers from within the CRM platform. SKILLS • • • Product & Project Management UX Workflow, Wireframes, and Design Technical Support & Technical Writing • • Web Development (HTML, CSS/SASS, Java/TypeScript) Software Development (C#, Java, SQL, Mongo, Neo4j) HOBBIES & INTERESTS Baking & Cooking: marathoning the Great British Bake Off on Netflix at the end of 2016 / start of 2017 rekindled in me a childhood love of cooking and baking. So I dove head-first back into it and must be a platinum member of Sur La Table and Williams Sonoma at this point. Twitter: does this count as a hobby? If I don't have TweetDeck open on my third monitor while working, I've got the app open on my phone while watching TV. I like to think I've at least curated my timeline to friends and a few trusted news accounts to keep up with what's going on in the world without wanting to jump out a window at the state of the world. Roadtrips: as a child my mom would take us on at least one or two roadtrips every year. Long drives out to Big Sur or Tahoe where I was able to soak in the scenery as we drove along new and unexplored roads. I had a GameBoy, but preferred to look out the window rather than keep my head down. This has carried into adulthood and it's rare that a month goes by without grabbing a ZipCar and driving out to parts unknown. 2
