As a former PhD candidate, I spent many hours revising and editing a dissertation. I have much experience researching Greek and Hebrew texts, critiquing arguments, and trying to reach a conclusion. This phase of my life developed several skills as a writer, including being a self-starter and diligence in my work.
When I became a teacher and pastor, I learned the importance of sharing information on a level that people can understand. When Union Gospel Press asked me to write their sermon and verse highlights, I explained the content of the passages creatively and honestly. But I intended to help the reader see how it affected him or her personally. That's when a writer connects the audience.
Now I am seeking a remote job in order to use my writing and editing skills wherever I can.
