Kerry Bester

Kerry has over 32 years of work experience ranging from Sales (beauty industry), Office Management, Beauty Therapist and Lecturing in the Beauty and Wellness Industry. 

Kerry has an International Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialists, International Level 3 Diploma in Body Slimming treatments and Facial Electrical. 

Years of experience, knowledge and skills, teaching and mentoring students in this field allows her to be versatile in the Beauty Salon/Clinic or in a training/sales environment. 

Kerry has also trained and mentored students in various beauty qualifications and international diplomas, she has an International Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. 

Kerry started her work experience in Office Management, she is a detail-orientated leader with demonstrated expertise in project and staff management, cross team collaboration, staff hiring, retention, marketing and sales. 

Kerry entered the beauty industry as a Sales/Brand Manager selling and marketing various beauty products to salons and clinics, besides her beauty knowledge and experience one of Kerry's biggest qualities, is work ethics, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to connect and listen to her clients.

As an Cosmetology educator, mentoring students and teaching is one of her greatest passions, her lifelong learning, experience, communication skills and knowledge gained from Office Management, Sales and in the Beauty and Wellness Industry are a valuable asset in ensuring her students get the best education in the classroom and what to expect out in the ‘real world”. All her skills/qualities acquired have aided her in being able give the students an all-around education into the beauty industry. 

From selling products to clients, managing a salon/clinic and administration of staff and stock, to executing all beauty treatments. 

Assessing students during final assessments for exams, marking and assessing of all course material such as case studies, project plans, exams and worksheets. Issuing homework and ensuring students are on track with course criteria and hours allocated to each course. 

Kerry is a leader and believes in fairness, equality, respect and has high work ethics.
