I was also part of a team of 13 directors charged with guiding and delivering a stellar season of the reality TV show. - Functions as a Content Director on ‘The Buzz' on Showmax: Following and identifying relevant breaking and trending stories on the Linear 24/7 show as well as never before seen stories that develop in the House to create a 30minute talk show for the ShowMax platform. Directing the studio recording of the bi-weekly talk show and guiding the host as well as studio guests on the show direction. - Functions as a Senior Content Director on Linear: Assisting with the training of the new content directors on MCR etiquette and the CD desk usage. Assisting with the training of the new content directors on how to use Media Composer and Avid, in lieu to meeting parts of their daily deliverables. MCR duties. Directing the technical directors and guiding the narrative of the story telling of the 24/7 show June 2020 - September 2020 RED PEPPER PICTURES CONTENT DIRECTOR BIG BROTHER NIGERIA (LINEAR) Part of a team of 11 content directors charged as custodians of the property, as well as marshalling the MCR and guiding the daily content for the entire season. - Responsible for guiding the video editors with respect to the daily highlights that made it online (digital space) as well as daily episodes that went to Channel (South Africa) for broadcast. Creating the VOs that accompanied the daily highlight episodes for linear broadcast Jan 2020 - April 2020 RED PEPPER PICTURES CONTENT DIRECTOR ULTIMATE LOVE NIGERIA S1 Part of a team of 10 content directors marshalling the MCR and guiding the daily content for the entire season. - Responsible for guiding the video editors with respect to the daily highlights that made it online (digital space) as well as daily episodes that went to Channel (South Africa). - Scripting the VOs that accompanied the weekly highlight episodes MAY 2019 – OCTOBER 2019 RED PEPPER PICTURES CONTENT DIRECTOR BIG BROTHER NIGERIA (SHOW MAX) - Roles included vetting the exclusive contents curated for the online Channel. Supervising the video editors to ensure deadlines are met timeously. Presenting the final edit to management daily. Ensuring daily episodes go out timeously, for broadcast on the Channel’s online platform (ShowMax). DECEMBER 2016 – MAY 2019 DON’T LOOK DOWN ENTERTAINMENT ONLINE CONTENT WRITER AND DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR Roles included creating and managing digital content for shows on the DSTV platform. Some of the Shows worked on include; - Big Brother Nigeria Season 2 (2017) - Big Brother Nigeria Season 3 (2018) - KFC Taste Kitchen (2018) - Idols SA (2017/2018) Took on the role of Content Creator for Zambezi Magic TV (a DSTV channel like Mzansi Magic; which caters to 6 Southern African countries). - The Channel catered to countries like Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland. Without limitations, my daily roles included community management on all social media platforms for the ZM Channel (Facebook, Twitter YouTube and Instagram). - I was also responsible for creating, vetting, and uploading relevant content to the ZM website daily. I got contracted with D & I Entertainment, a Lagos based (Nigeria) record label created in 2006 which had artistes like Adaz, Fragrance and B-Clean; 3 new faces in the industry. The label had also just signed established dancehall and pop duo DANFO DRIVERS; and it was my job to provide organizational structure for the Record label as well as manage everything regarding the artistes on the label. Managing the recording schedule for the studio to ensure all our artistes get adequate time in the studio, as well as ensuring that external artistes also get their studio bookings done correctly.
