I'm Kenneth Waita, a finance professional deeply rooted in the world of microfinance and credit risk management. For over six years, I’ve worked on the front lines as a Credit and Risk Officer, helping individuals and small businesses access loans, restructure debt, and build better financial futures.

My journey began with a passion to see people grow financially—especially those often overlooked by traditional banks. Over time, I’ve built solid experience in loan structuring, credit risk assessment, debt recovery, and portfolio management. Whether it’s guiding a struggling borrower through restructuring or analyzing a loan book for risk exposure, I’ve been right there, combining data with human understanding.

Alongside finance, I bring with me seven years in sales and marketing, which taught me how to connect with people, communicate value, and build trust—skills that have served me well when dealing with clients, teams, and partners.

I’ve also had the privilege of training groups on financial literacy, because I believe access to credit should go hand-in-hand with education. From group lending models to digital credit solutions, I’ve seen how finance can truly transform lives.
