Kennedy Kiume

I am a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting graduate, Certified Public Accountant CPA (K), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with ten years’ experience.

I am a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

I am conversant with developing audit manuals, developing annual risk based audit plans and certificates, preparing audit reports, board papers, carrying out audit follow ups, developing audit programs and carrying out forensic and investigative assignments.

I am well versant with identifying and analyzing risk and coming up with effective controls to mitigate them. I am conversant with the tax laws and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Additionally, I am conversant with Enterprise Risk Management, development of risk registers, accounting practices and International Financial Reporting standards for the banking, insurance and trading companies.

I have good analytical, problem solving, inter-personal, leadership, and communication skills. I am keen to detail, eager to learn, dedicated and a team player.
