EZAKASO and GANA Community Comprehensive Education Projects (CCE) support three primary schools under EZAKASO, namely Mangororo, Matolani and Magogoni, and three primary schools under GANA, namely Kimbule, Migodomani and Mikuluni in Kilifi County through a holistic program that will significantly improve outcomes across five pillars of intervention: education, clean water and sanitation, food and nutrition, healthcare and income training and empowerment.
Provided supervision of contractors in constructions of classrooms, kitchens, resource centres VIP latrines, underground water tanks and renovation of classrooms in all the 6 schools
Successfully provided teaching and learning materials in all the 6 schools and equipping the resource centres with books that will used by the whole community
Conducted teacher’s capacity building on gender responsive pedagogical trainings BOM capacity building on managing school resources
Effectively implemented School Feeding Programme in all the 6 schools in order to improve nutrition of the learners by provision of Corn Soya Beans mixture porridge during breakfast and maize and beans at lunch time.
Created demonstration farms in all the 6 schools to enable students to learn and showcase climate smart agriculture techniques with the produce supplementing the school feeding programme.
