I am a passionate data analyst and software engineer with a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and full-stack development. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Kirinyaga University, and my expertise lies in analyzing data, building scalable applications, and deriving actionable insights.

I have intermediate-level expertise in data analysis, with skills in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python. My ability to clean, transform, and visualize data enables me to provide meaningful insights that drive effective business decision-making.

I recently completed an internship at Teach2Give as a Tableau Data Analyst, where I gained hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud, Desktop, Public, and Prep. During this role, I built interactive dashboards and reports that helped organizations make data-driven decisions. Notable projects I have worked on include:

My strong foundation in Java programming also enables me to develop enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices, while my skills in DevOps, cloud computing (Azure), and version control (Git & GitHub) ensure robust and scalable software solutions.

I recently won the Tableau Data Dev 2025 hackathon sponsored by Salesforce, which showcased my proficiency in data visualization and analytics. I have also earned the Tableau Data Analyst Certification, a credential that underscores my ability to leverage Tableau for extracting, analyzing, and communicating insights effectively.
