A Digital Designer and Illustrator with a focus in creative direction, I have experience building projects (online media, publications, etc) from the ground up. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration, I spent 4 years as an in-house UX/UI designer. I managed brand guidelines and maintenance for a multinational sector of digital products including web design, social media, customer service apps, registration flows, and consumer interaction software.
In 2018, I enrolled in an MA course at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design in London, where I studied creative direction. During this time, I rounded out my experience by immersing myself in projects that built media from the ground up – branching from user research and logo design through publication runs and photo shoots. I have worked on every aspect of design and worked with people in all departments involved in design/creative processes, ensuring that I have a vast knowledge of every step of building a brand in any medium.
I have since applied these skills to several internships and apprenticeships including two months in British Vogue's art department, a month as a stylist intern with Angie Smith Style, and my current work assisting fashion and music magazine, BRICK, with designing and constructing their online presence. I have also assisted photographers, producers, stylists, and creative directors on photo shoots for DIY Magazine, Schön! Magazine, Kaltbult Magazine, PAUSE Online, ES Magazine, Supercoulor Records, Twin Studios, and Gentleman's Journal.
