Keely O'Brien

My interest in communications and working in a creative field drove me to complete a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus in marketing. After receiving my degree, my goal was to work in a creative field while still communicating with others. This led me to work in client relations as an Account Executive for M5 Marketing Communications, where I was able to manage several marketing campaigns and client relationships, as well as operate my clients’ social media channels, and ensure all projects were executed according to budget and timeline. From then on, I have worked in the Partner Relations field in varying capacities. I always strive to act as a consultant while consistently bringing fresh and creative ideas to partners’ businesses. I succeed at collaborating, communicating, and finding solutions for partners. 

I have managed a large portfolio of partners in most of my previous professional positions. In my most recent as Account Representative, I had to work independently and make informed decisions while I spoke with partners every day, strategizing and helping them reach their goals and ensuring any questions or issues they had were taken care of promptly. I managed the general enquiry inbox via Zendesk and coordinated website fixes via Jira and Asana. I also operated the CMS platforms for MindGeek’s largest website properties, one website reaching 75,000,000 views in one day. I have also worked with remote teams in several countries, coordinating website changes with developers.

Originally from Canada, I am currently living abroad in Europe. I have travelled extensively, especially over this past year, and have completed several volunteer and short-term positions while abroad. I always enjoy getting involved in the communities around me and making a difference. I’m now looking to get back to using my skills professionally again, work with clients, challenge myself, and start working towards new goals.
