SEO ANALYST, Blexr March 2018 – Present
Blexr is a performance marketing company within the iGaming sector, based in Malta. Focused particularly on search marketing, web design, web development and UX, Blexr obtains leads for their partners within the casino, betting, poker and forex industries.
Key responsibilities:
As SEO Analyst my role involves developing and executing SEO strategies and campaigns, in order to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to the websites. The role involves both on page optimisation, such as performing keyword research and undertaking content changes, as well as off page optimisation, such as link-building and outreach activities.
Other responsibilities of my role include:
Performing regular SEO analysis and whole site audits
Presenting recommendations for optimisation of content and architecture
Implementing content and site changes in cooperation with web development and site management

SEO AND PPC EXECUTIVE, AX Hotels September 2017 – December 2017
AX Hotels is one of the largest luxury hotel operators in Malta, forming part of AX Holdings Ltd. The group comprises six hotels, in various locations across the island.
Key responsibilities:
As SEO and PPC Executive my role involves managing the PPC campaigns for all the six hotels within the AX Holdings Group, with the aim to maximise ROI. I am also responsible for both on and off page optimisation of the six websites, in order to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to the sites, as well as managing budgets and revenue targets from SEO and PPC for the Group.
As a result of my previous experience within other areas of digital marketing, I also undertake other responsibilities, such as:

MARKETING INTERN, Admiral Insurance January 2016 – June 2016
A subsidiary of the Admiral Group, Admiral Insurance offers various insurance products and is the only FTSE 100 company located within Wales.
Key responsibilities:
Gathering insights from customers about the company’s website, creating recommendations and feeding these back to the Marketing department

Key achievements:
Online polls created to gather customer feedback received 46,583 responses and were continued to be utilised after the end of my internship period.
After 3 months of designing the landing page for the `Classic Car Insurance’ product, and creating the content for this page, the page went live on the company website in June 2016.
An article written for Diamond received 2,801 page views within 3 months, and was one of the top 10 content pieces for Admiral in April. This article also helped with the website’s SEO rankings by creating authoritative content.

Schokolat Ltd is a manufacturing company that sells chocolate products.
Working as a sales representative at several Christmas and summer markets selling chocolate products. In particular, acting as Event Manager for Schokolat at Cardiff Christmas Market in November-December 2015. This role included all event management logistics, temporary staff recruitment and event co-ordination. Other work includes international research for potential suppliers and liaison with international companies.

Marks and Spencer is a British multinational retailer, and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 index.
Working at one of the flagship retail outlets for M&S, I was employed as a Sales Assistant in various departments including Lingerie, Childrenswear, Food and Customer Services. Key responsibilities included: Pricing, POS transactions, stock control, merchandising, customer services.

In my spare time I enjoy several sports including skiing, scuba diving and judo. I have achieved a BJA Brown Belt in judo and was a member of the Hampshire judo squad. I won the Surrey Youth Games for two years running and competed at UK national level. I am a keen traveller and have visited numerous countries in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia. I have an interest in current affairs and have been selected to debate current political issues with MPs at the House of Commons, meeting the then Chancellor of the Exchequer (The Rt. Hon. George Osborne C.H. M.P.).
