ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Implementation of new physical security measures across four separate hospital facilities. Specific to both physical security changes regarding the creation and distribution of identification badges, as well as implementing new technology in accordance with new procedure to grant access to the restricted areas throughout the various locations. Implementation included creation of policies regarding access for both employees and non-employees, as well as identify and define restricted areas throughout.
Interfaced project with Security department for new card access readers for badge access to restricted areas. Worked to determine access needed for various departments, as well as, implemented greater security measures for non-employed staff. Key driver in verification of access by triaging need based on role.
Implemented new procedures for Student access across all facilities. Included physical access for those students who needed it. Worked with Human Resources, as well as, Clinical Education departments to create new process and procedures for granting access.
Implementation of electronic program for new payroll and benefits system. Collaborated with financial team to create new procedures and policies regarding access across 7 separate facilities to include participating/affiliate facilities, as well as, new physical security piece directly related to time card access.
Creation of new standardized naming convention to reduce the amount of user name changes required across the system. Worked with Human Resources and Financial team to implement new procedures regarding automated process for new employees, as well as, standard for changing existing employees as needed.
Implemented new procedures regarding network folder, as well as, physical access for all non-employee staff who required access to the electronic medical records.
Responsible for implementing new security settings across existing network folders, as well as, employee personal network drives. Responsible for creating security settings regarding new network folder access, as well as, restrictions of folders with confidential information both existing and new requests.
