I have several years of experience in a variety of documentation including that of a Documentation Associate in a shipping line and a Data Entry in a shared service, Destinations of the World, a travel industry wholesaler.
As an Export Documentation Associate, my primary goal is encoding, proofreading and rating of the Bill of Lading (an official document prepared by carrier duly accepting the goods for shipment containing information like items, quantity, value, vessel details, date, port, consignee and a contract to carry the goods to the said destination.) I am responsible for amending the Bills of Lading, sending Correction Notices to concerned parties, handling telephone inquiries, handling queries thru emails, handling customer concerns in telephone and emails, checking the completeness and accuracy of B/L data, sending B/L copies to the customer via fax or email. My duties also include the preparation and filing of copies of Outward Foreign Manifest as well as the filing and logging of the soft copies of our Correction Notices in the Excel file.
Then lastly as a Data Entry Operator in a shared services company which is Destinations of the World, a wholesaler of travel agency and hotels. As a Data Entry Operator, my role is to create and update hotel profile (property name, property address, property contact numbers, property description, amenities, and leisure, etc.) , mapping data from one information system to another system (hotels and rooms), checking and updating the star ratings of the hotels, uploading hotel pictures, product matching using MS Excel (matching supplier’s address and DOTW’s address, etc.), assisting queries thru emails.
I have strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills. I am capable to achieve a certain goal in time.
