Kate Palfi

I am a British citizen and a TESOL certified English teacher and I have a well-rounded 22-year background in teaching English as a second language to adults and children along with translating (German to English) and proofreading texts

I have a flexible career working as a native speaker in kindergartens, teaching English to primary school and kindergarten children in the afternoon, along with providing private lessons for students up to the age of 18.

I create lesson plans and provide materials in all aspects of the English language using MS Office, in addition, as a franchise partner for English language courses, I have to be extremely well-organised, and I also have the ability to converse perfectly in German with my clients. My German level exceeds B2 and I use German and English as my working language. I have recently applied my English lessons online using Zoom and Skype in the current Covid-19 pandemic with great praise and success. 

I am also an experienced translator (German to English) and proofreader. I have freelanced for kolar.at for the past 8 years (newsletters, website and brochures). I recently completed a project to translate and proofread their new website. I enjoyed the experience of doing this that I would like to work more in this area.
