Karsten Hamre

Throughout the years I have gone from being a photojournalist to become more a mix of photojournalist, street, and documentary photographer.

I shoot on most locations and always strive to create images with an impact that capture the essence of a place or location.

My search for compelling images has brought me to many areas around Europe especially, before relocating to the Philippines in 2013. I take particular interest in documenting the surroundings and locations in various places. Through my images I strive to portray the timeless beauty of the places I visit.

Previously published in newspapers and magazines like Heimdrag (NO), Rogalands Avis (NO), Kant (NO), Brød og Sirkus (NO), Hugin og Munin (NO), QG (HU), Metal Hammer (HU), and numerous internet magazines.

In addition I have also had my photos used as part of album designs for bands/artists worldwide, in addition to providing band photography for some of them.
