Karin Amir

I am a dedicated Clinical Biomedical Engineer with a strong foundation in systems and biomedical engineering, which I began building during my studies at Cairo University. Since March 2023, I have been working at Cleopatra Hospitals Group, where I take an active role in ensuring the optimal performance of medical equipment and contributing to high-level project management. My daily work involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement biomedical solutions, managing CAPEX planning for new projects, and coordinating Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to guarantee that hospital devices are always safe and operational.

​Throughout my career and various internships, I have gained hands-on experience with a wide range of technology, from hemodialysis machines and dental lasers to X-ray and mammogram devices. These roles have sharpened my skills in troubleshooting, risk classification, and technical documentation. Beyond the technical side, I am highly proficient in Microsoft Office and have a strong background in communication and organizational management, skills I refined while handling administrative responsibilities and client relations earlier in my professional journey. My goal is to continue leveraging my engineering expertise to improve patient care through innovative and strategic technical solutions.
