I’m Karima Benzahra, a DevOps and Full-Stack Engineer with hands-on experience building and maintaining high-performance SaaS platforms. Over the past years, I’ve helped startups and research teams deploy robust systems, optimize workflows, and scale applications seamlessly.

At HayawiTech, I designed and deployed a medical SaaS system with a FastAPI backend and Next.js frontend on a VPS. I implemented CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and a private Docker registry, while deploying applications with Kubernetes, complete with health checks, automated rollouts, and monitoring tools. My work ensured high availability and smooth updates for the SaaS platform.

At Kalima OCR, I built a full-stack SaaS platform for digitizing Arabic manuscripts. I orchestrated asynchronous OCR tasks using Redis and Celery, integrated LLM-based text correction, and managed file storage with MinIO and metadata in MongoDB. I also implemented authentication via email verification and Google OAuth, ensuring a secure and user-friendly platform. To track performance, I developed custom logging and monitoring tools that gave actionable insights into usage and system health.

I co-founded RetroMuse Studios, an incubated startup recognized nationally, where I continue to maintain the studio’s website and represent Algerian game development initiatives at tech events.
