SUMMARY OF SKILLS AND CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
General Virtual Assistant — For over 9 years, I have been a General Virtual Assistant helping
online and offline based entrepreneurs with their business.
From small start up businesses to big e-commerce website businesses and online 1:1 to big
membership/group coaching businesses, I have been helping in small tasks to big project roles
from basic admin assistance such as research, data entry, to recruitment, hiring process, to
creating process documentation, to social media, email marketing, to website maintenance and
being an executive assistant for bookkeepers mainly using Xero as a tool.
Being a Gen VA can be challenging at times due to new systems to be learned, ever changing
user interface of existing software use and tech challenges however, it’s very fulfilling to work as
a Gen VA due to it’s ever learning nature and knowing that helping out clients and making their
lives and business easier can definitely be a work achievement. Everything is do-able online, it’s
just about getting the right resources and information.
Digital Media Marketing — For over 6 years, digital marketing has become my passion.
Learning social media on the ropes in 2011 that eventually turned into doing more than just
social media marketing, but social media content strategy, social media graphics and packages.
I was able to develop and venture out into doing social media + email marketing working with
various businesses based in the UK, US and AU. Social media content strategy + application,
email marketing - creating opt-ins, and automation, email sequences, understanding email
users and their behaviors towards different markets. Digital marketing also entails building
websites (not from coding) but with the use of simple tools that integrates into social and email
marketing.

● Systems and Processes: I make sure to create easy, smooth flowing Systems and
Processes for the client’s business/ back end systems.
● Documentation: I make and document all systems and procedures or tasks to do. I help
organize in the team to show the little To Do lists and how these tools and softwares are
being used.
● High Level organization: Documentation and systems and tools organization and it’s
best uses (maximising use) in the business. Example: Asana, Trello, Dubsado,
TeamWork, Basecamp and more.

Executive Assistance focus in Bookkeeping: Disclaimer: I am not an accountant nor an
accounting graduate): I have helped busy entrepreneurs in their bookkeeping tasks,
record keeping and reconciling. I have a background in business organization and
accepted bookkeeping/record keeping tasks as part of being a General Virtual Assistant.
I recently finished a Xero Adviser Certification from Xero U Course trainings focusing
altogether Xero, Xero Practice Manager and integrating Xero functionalities to Trello
(Currently taking the Trello x Xero Advisor training). I am also scheduled to start local
bookkeeping national certificate II via TESDA Training here in the Philippines.

published- if content are getting good engagement, reach and more, we continue
to create. Strategy comes in to which platforms to combine, use and boost.

Photoshop cc and CS6, Canva, adobe spark, I have used imovie for simple audio and
video edits.

● Gen VA Functions —I make sure to make myself helpful in the needs of the clients, esp
if there are general va tasks at hand such as research, compiling of ta, setting up
templates, updating documents and more.
● Website Content Update & Maintenance — Working with different creative bosses, I took
part in making sure their websites are up to date with their blogs. I sometimes crafted
blog posts, formatted these blogs and publishing it to their websites. Following the social
media updating. I have worked with Wordpress (almost 9 years), SquareSpace and Wix.
I have also used and updated plugins in these platforms. For Wordpress, I’ve also
handled woo commerce, while I also built a Shopify website via drop shipping
background.
● SEO — I recently learned formal SEO. I am not an expert — yet but 2019 is my goal to
get myself into SEO expert level. I have created some SEO Writing, SEO tools used as
Yoast SEO via wordpress and applied the same strategy to Squarespace users.
