Founder and owner of MakintheBacon (http://makinthebacon.com) - A blog that has evolved into a business that aims to help new bloggers and new online business owners to help grow their business. I began blogging in 2012 and took several coding workshops and a part-time web development course. This experience enabled me to leave my job of almost 5 years with the government and take on a job at an ad tech startup. I am also the organizer and founder of the HaltonBlogBiz Meetup Group - a group that brings online entrepreneurs and bloggers of the Halton Region .
My blog has enabled to teach myself new skills as WordPress management, content creation and optimization, social media strategy through various platforms, basic SEO, beginner HTML , design of ebooks and blog graphics through Canva and PicMonkey and so much more. I believe you learn the most by doing. And having done all this has given me the experience that I can share with potential clients.
