I was recently working as a financial planner and analyst at Transunion in Johannesburg before going on a personal sabbatical. In this position I was responsible for budgeting of operating expenses as well as capital expenditure, I also analysed the variances to actuals and provide commentary on the reasons for the variances. I was given the opportunity to present to various department heads, CFO and CEO on the company budget needs as well as if we are aligned to the budget.Prior to Transunion I have gained ample experience in the financial services industry as an external audit associate at MMS Group. I have experience with managing teams of up to 5 members and liaising with clients regularly to ensure quality services are delivered to them.

I would describe myself as someone who is analytical and has an eye for detail.This makes me a suitable candidate for roles in finance given my experience with presenting/communicating with various stakeholders as well as working with large volumes of data and still being able to present accurate financial reports and analysis.

Outside of my normal scope of work, I have the following achievements:

1.Runner-up of top associates on technical training assessments with average of 80%+.

2.Completed audit articles on record time.

3.Provided deferred tax training of which colleagues gave feedback on how they understand the basic concepts of the topic.
