Objective : Detection of metallic object bomb, metal etc Description : In metal detecting robotic vehicle the transmission medium used is Radio frequency wireless media. Microcontroller 8052 used to perform various operation like reverse, forward, right, and left motion of the robot. Pick and place robotic arm is attached to the vehicle which is made up of metal. Robotic arm motion is controlled by same RF based transmitter remote device. The frequency range of RF module is 434 MHz, which cover approximately distance of 30 meter RESEARCH WORK Research Title : Scale Conjugate Gradient Based Learning Applied to Handwritten Digit Classification. Objective : The purpose of this research is to take handwritten digit as input, preprocess the digits, trained with scale conjugate gradient method, and then classify handwritten digits by using neural network to recognize the pattern and modify the digits to a beautiful version of the input. Description : SCG is a supervised learning model that enhance the system learning capability at some extent. It also works as optimization technique that reduces the cost function by improving system validation performance. Cost function used in this research area is cross entropy that gives probabilistic approach to reduce misclassification error.
