I'm a fully insured, independent technical writer, and I specialize in grant/proposal writing.

I have a Masters degree in Technical Communication, and I have several years of experience applying my skills in both industry and academia. I have a strong background in audience analysis, rhetoric, writing, research methods, documentation, document design, working with SMEs, and crafting cohesive narratives.

I excel at crafting arguments and documents that:

• follow all formatting and submission requirements

I am available to help with any stage of the proposal writing process, from project planning to finalizing a draft, and I am equally comfortable integrating into existing teams or working as an individual contributor. While I am a grant/proposal writing specialist, I also offer consulting and editing/revision services.

I follow strict confidentiality with NDAs, and—in general—clients retain complete ownership and usage rights for all info, argumentation, or documentation I create for a project. I always provide an updated letter of agreement for each project to ensure that expectations, project tasks, deliverables, deadlines, ownership, rates/fees, and operating procedures are mutually understood and agreed upon.

Availability

I am currently available for contracting, subcontracting, consulting, and retainer contracts (up to 15hrs/week).

To ensure that I’m available when clients need me, I always reserve at least 10 hours/week for rush or high priority projects, for which—at my sole discretion—I may be available on evenings, weekends, and minor holidays.

I am available to work with disaster response teams 24/7.
